Blog Comments

For those trying to make blog comments so that all can read them, try this:

At the bottom of each day's entry, there is an underlined "comments" line, with a number in front of it. The number is how many comments have been made for that entry. Just click with your mouse the word comments. This will bring you to another page that has "Blog Comments" on the left, for you to read already made comments. The "Leave your comment" on the right side of the page is for you to type in your comment. Type in your name at the end of the comment if you want to be identified with it. Then select "anonymous". And then Push the orange "Publish your comment" button. Try to do this so you can make comments when necessary.

Good Times had by ALL!

Here are some pictures from the reunion this past weekend. My kids really are glad they were able to come and sorry those that were not there, missed a great time. Sounds like the square dancing was a memoriable event. Thanks to all those that were there to make it such a great time. Here are the two different views. Both turned out pretty good.

Here is Ian and his wife, both did a good job with us rookies.

Some Updates for You

SAFETY: There is a medical facility in Elliston, MT about 6 miles down the road should anything happen that may require a visit. So rest assured and with prayer for safety, we will get through the weekend with minimized injury.

CELL PHONES: Now for you city slickers, your cell phone may not receive all those text messages and important phone calls while you're at the camp. We are in Montana, in the "sticks" and there probably won't be coverage. So be prepared!

PHOTOS OF THE PAST: BRING YOUR PHOTO ALBUMS of the past to share with everyone. There will be a memorabilia table with photo albums, stories that have been submitted, for all to look at and converse over.

CHURCH SERVICE ON SUNDAY: There will be a church service, with some scripture reading, singing. Let's keep the proper perspective and be thankful for the many blessing we as an extended family have had over the years.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP: The camp is near Elliston MT, which is about 20 miles west of Helena on Highway 12 towards Missoula. It is on the west side of McDonald Pass. From Elliston, you travel on Little Blackfoot River Road for about 6 miles to the South-Southeast of Elliston. Here is a link to Google Map that shows the direction from Elliston. Blue marker is Elliston and Green marker is Lions Camp. Happy travels!

Pictures of the Camp

Playground area for the kids. It maybe hard to keep the adults off of some of these things. Dick, when was the last time you were on a Teeter Totter?

Anyone for horseshoes? We like to play Frisbee Golf too! There are alot of trees to get creative with.

The Fire Pit where we will be singing, talking, telling stories, laughing. See the Bunk houses in the background.

The Bunk Houses. Not a 5 Star Hilton. But maybe there will be mints under the pillows.

The Chow Hall. Will need to reorganize a bit.

The Community Hall. Square Dancing, talent night, games, etc.

The Front gate. Nice area for a reunion. Should be loads of FUN.
